Well… What should I say in a first blog post?   Welcome?  Why am I here?  Hmm.  Well I guess I could start off with Why… and then go from there.  For a while now I’ve been wanting to become a more effective communicator.  I’ve struggled with how to do that… then it hit me.  Why not start with a blog? 

My hope is that it will help me “pay” closer attention to the world around me.  (What am I going to write about today?)  Additionally, I figure the back and forth of discussions with friends, family, and people in general will help me focus better on how to communicate my opinion.  Finally, I am constantly learning new things for work and I’d like to write down some of my experiences there in the hopes of helping other people learn and helping knowledge I glean coalesce in my own head.
